Who knows Who Cares

Easy as it sounds, we’re still always wondering.

I think about the upcoming day, and just don’t care,

Although it’s never as easy,

I’ve fallen into the river plenty of times this year,

I’m stuck in-between the currents still,

Barely alive from the last hit,

I wonder what’s to fall upon me for tomorrow,

Who knows, who cares,

We’re only worrying about ourselves in the long run anyways,

Who worries about him or her,

Who sleeps with a whole heart and one with only a half,

Who knows, who cares.

You never wonder who else is trying to survive in the current,

Who sinks or who floats,

I never once thought about those, until my head was down below, just like the many others..

Thinking about tomorrow, I might just float on, and grab a few hands if I can,

Think about those who worry on behave of those who don’t worry,

You and I know how it feels, we all do..

Helping those to float on, up high, way above those waves,

Only caring enough to wonder what will happen tomorrow and not worry about ourselves and instead those who are already sinking.
